Opening up to the engaging nature of the social web, we worked with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company to create a new consumer-centric experience. With a green thumb for gender and generational behavior online, we conducted both consumer and category research to support our instincts. From these insights we rooted the site in an ATG platform with the technical capabilities to dynamically customize content. The new Scotts.com bloomed into a site where visitors can grow, learn and connect: thousands of visitors registered immediately, creating blogs, browsing brands, uploading photos, asking questions, getting answers, gaining confidence. In this web-made world, consumers are getting their hands dirty and feeling pretty darn good about it.
